Hi there.
Nice try at this, but unfortunately it doesn't make it on a number of counts.

First and foremost it fails to engage the viewer: no interesting subject to catch the eye - the intention seems to be on the sunset but in itself it is quite featureless.

Second the HDR effect certainly has not come through: there is still lots of detail lost in the shadows.

Also the colours, being an important part of colour landscapes such as this, look flat, the problem of relying on out-of-camera shots to get the results you want.

Hope this critique helps, but bear in mind - it's my own personal view as a non-pro.

Unfortunately there are too many elements going on in this picture to really make it click. There is a row of trees in the foreground that get cut off, then an ocean scene that is also cut off, some kind of buildings in the back that are indiscernible, and then a sky which is too dark.

It is a good attempt at capturing what I'm sure was a beautiful scene in person, but the framing and positioning doesn't translate that over well. It's also very hard to tell that it's an HDR, because there is almost nothing that is properly exposed -- but this is also in part of images straight out of the camera sometimes being very dull or improperly exposed.
