Vast landscape.
The different colours in the layers of rock are an intriguing part of creation.

Great capture. I love how you can see all the sediment deposits from the millions-years-old rock along with the relatively new brush growing at the bottom of the shot. It's like two different worlds coexisting.

Subtle, rich colors. Nice use of the background to add a little lift to the foreground areas. Just a hint of foreground and not too much either!

I like this one Ole - it shows how vast that view really was.

I see the real subject of the photo to be the beautiful barren rockscape at the top, but the woodsy foreground occupies more than a third of the frame. I'd crop it some till about where that dirt road angling down ends around the middle of the bottom edge of the frame. I think that emphasizes the subject without overdoing or eliminating the contrast of the foreground. I like the dirt road in the shot.

But whatever, it is a beautiful view well captured.
