Bit of a crop and I think you have great shot.
The piling catches my eye on the right crop or clone it out.
The forground could be trimmed down to add to the silloette. There's a bit too much detail there......seems to draw my eye.

All in all a nice shot.

Are those fishing nets out there?

If what your calling a piling is what I think it is that's a guy getting ready to throw a castnet. All the rest are channel markers. I took this at the mouth of the Anclote River looking west. (obviously. It's a sunset) Towards the Gulf of Mexico. This is the worst of a series of shots this particular night. And no PP at all except resize. Thanks for the nice comments shooz.

Looks nice. Horizon's not straight though

Thanks for the comments Jim. What about a pseudo panorama?

This second version is closer to what I'd prefer. Personally I find all the shore in the foreground distracting. Too much to try and remove I know but that tree or whatever that juts out next to the fisherman really needs to go.

A better crop, but the horizon sitll isn't straight. Very distracting.

Yeah, I like this version better. A little less distraction in the foreground.

Ahh, very nice pano-look mate.
Cropped like that, it's a stellar shot.
Well done.

A larger crop would be nice.

Thanks for all the comments. Seems like I am harder on my shots than I should be. This was one of the setup shots I took on this night. The shots 10 minutes later have more color and I like better. This was a gift to a friend so I won't post those. But I may sometime go back and look at other shots I "rejected" and see what's hidden.

Next chance I get to go out here I am going to try a sunset pano. It's such a beautiful area.
