Colours are good but it's a little overexposed. If you use levels to make it less bright, the tower will stand out much better. Compositionally it's good and it's a nice picture, it's just a bit lacking in interest, it's a shame there aren't arrow slits or something on the tower.
The vapour trails spoil it as well a little, they didn't have midieval jet planes.
The gate also spoils it, maybe if you took a shot with the camera horizontal and having the bottom of the frame starting above the gate, the wider perspective would bring out more interest.

HDR mode, right? You need to do some post processing on K7 HDR images to make them look "normal" again. As it is, it's lacking contrast, a little too bright, and a little too saturated. It does look like a nice scene though.

Gary and Wally say it all - not much else to add.
A fine scene - difficult to expose due to the shadows, so better framed without the gate and some of the shrubbery disrupting the aesthetics of the image.
But well done.

No, not HDR, just a single exposure!

I don't know what explains the look, then, but the critique given still applies.

Just a quick thought. How about converting it to B&W? May fit the medieval tone better.

Complete with vapour trails from a midieval jet and a 20th century gate.
