Here is another that I took at my local park this past weekend. The fog has almost llifted completely. You can still see the remnants of the fog in the back ground.

A dreamy scene.
Not bad, a little extra PP work may improve this image, but nicely done.

Yeah, nice one. I think I'd darken and/or blur the background while keeping the island and foreground bright. I think I'd like it to be more foggy as long as the foreground stayed clear.

I think this is the kind of shot that could benefit greatly from getting down on your belly and shooting across the surface of the water more instead of down on it. It would add more depth to the picture.

Brit has a great idea - the change of perspective would make it an even better shot.
I also think Steven is on the right track, too... blur in the background would help the vivid island stand out even more.
