I like the uncropped just because you get a better sense of the setting of the photo. Cropping out the wall takes away the whole "under a bridge eating" feeling. I guess to me it gives the image a more "real world" look than the crops do.
Personally, that's my style of choice.

If you look at most of my stuff, they're mainly city shots that capture the ambience of where I was in a single photograph and how I wanted to share the feeling I had while being there, instead of trying to be "artsy" (for lack of a better word).

I appreciate that everyone has a different idea on how they prefer this image. It's not to knock anyone's preference or my composition, but rather a constructive discussion of how different perceptions can completely change people's view of the photograph.

If I'm blabbing (in short): It'd be interesting to see what people would think of the cropped shot by itself if they never saw the rest of the bridge...

I prefer the non-cropped version. My eyes went directly to the woman. I think I would have focused on her instead that on the men on the right. Anyway, she is in a kind of halo, which I also like very much.
Loved the picture. I would not mind to see a few more from that trip.

Thanks for your input!

The rest of the pics are on my flickr album (link below). Just look up the "tokyo" album on the right.
