OK, not bad.
Technically all right, although not an engaging capture.
The sky proved difficult to contend with - cloudy and very bright with soft lighting on the subject - hard to do much about. Would have been better later in the day when the colours in the sky would have added drama to the scene.

Hi,
I like the shot, but would rather have an angle the excluded the sign/placard. I don't know if that was possible or not. Just a personal preference, I am sure others will disagree.
On another note, have you tried to recover the highlights at all. Here is my attempt on your jpeg (including halos and all ) You can probably do better with the raw file, if you want to.

I agree about the sign. Taken from a lower angle and shooting up with either the entire gun in shot or closer so that the wheels and a portion of the barrel occupied a larger area of the frame would have given more separation from the sky.

I have some ideas now... I will work with the original image, work on the sky, take out the sign.

I also have some other angles I took that day. Including the old Mississippi river bridge. Will post ....
