Pinnacles - Photo 2
Lens: 18mm Camera: K-7 Photo Location: Cervantes - Western Australia ISO: 100 Shutter Speed: 1/60s Aperture: F3.5 

This was taken at sun set behind overcast sky, flash fired off camera 80 degrees to the right, processed in lightroom.

I think it could use a boost in contrast. I also would try a lower perspective to minimize the sand in the background. The sky would provide a better contrasting background for the pinnacle then the sand.
