Flight with evening clouds
Lens: 260mm Camera: Pentax K10D Photo Location: New Zealand ISO: 400 Shutter Speed: 1/500s Aperture: F5.6

Photo I forgot I'd taken and found when I was sorting out older files. Any feedback is good.

The only feedback you'll be getting from me is: AWESOME!
Brilliant abstract background result with the small yet bold subject nicely placed in the frame.
Love it mate.
Very unique.
Well done.

I think it's brilliant. I cannot think of any improvements.

I wonder - how much of the streakiness in the clowds is from the way they were and how much it was from panning?

That's a beautiful image mate. Go careful picking the frame.

I think this is one of the most artistic shots I have seen for some time, excellent work and it grabs my attention very, very well.

Thanks for the above comments. I liked it myself, but it was quite abstract so I wasn't quite sure.

To be honest there's no panning at all, I thought about it, but the cloud was naturally so lined like that it was a bit redundant.

I actually thought it was all panning...until I saw the shutter speed - 1/500.

I'm glad I kept my mouth shut, because it definitely looks like a panning effect.

That's an amazing shot! The only thing I can say as far as a critique is I kinda wish the bird was bigger. If it were mine I might try cropping it to see how it looked.

Great shot!!
