"A" is for apple.
Camera: K2000 ISO: 200 Shutter Speed: 1/4s Aperture: F32

The winter sunrise makes for interesting lighting via my backdoor on a daily basis.
I set up this still life and bounced the flash off of the ceiling for extra fill.
Thoughts and comments appreciated.
Thanks,
JD

I like the concept a lot, part of me wishes the background were a bit more lit up, but then you wouldn't get the shadow effect that I do find very interesting.

I think I want slightly more light around the bowl and the apples, but not enough to lose the shadowing. Otherwise, the only other thing is the texture of the towel is distracting, but that mya just be me.

Overall, I really like it.

I agree with summatusmentis...you have a very good idea and i love your concept... I like the shadowing idea because it defines the color in the apple alot better but i think the back is just a little to dark. Try what summatusmentis said ...just try to light it up just a tad bit
