People Cooking Pot Self-shot

Took some pictures while waiting for water to boil. This was my favorite out of the set. Let me know what you think, thanks.

Two things stick out, the subject is in the centre of the frame and the background is too cluttered.

I like the concept... the flame is neat and in experimenting with new photo ops it is good, but be cautioned about the cropping. I think you could either go tighter or move the pot to the right in the frame so you can see the whole handle, it is cut off in an odd spot for me...
