Interesting light coming through the pedals... is it sunlight? Or was it back lite some how as the front pedals get quite dark...

Very nice abstract Ole. I would suggest increasing the contrast a little to darken up the lower part of the frame and just a little crop from the right to get rid of that gap in the bottom corner.

I like it also - colour, tones, curves and textures all feature beautifully in the image.
Have a look at the histogram as I think there are significant areas of blown highlights that lose some of the detail in the petals. They could possibly be saved with a drop in saturation and/or exposure.

Otherwise a pleasant capture. Well done Ole.

@ icywarm - yes, it was sunlight.

@ Gary - I was debating with myself if the darks should be pulled down. Close call I think. Ia gree that the green in the lower left corner is distracting.

@ Ash - the red channel is blown at the right edge, in the middle. Perhaps I could salvage that in ACR. Now that you mentioned it I notice it all the time!
