There is a lot of blue... but I like the tone in the image, it makes me thirsty...

I think the blue background works. You really pushed the sensor to it's limits on dynamic range. The only thing that I can see that you could do is to recover some of the highlights if you can and lighten the mid tones a little to balance it.

It's a bright capture, and indeed the contrast is limiting here due to the backlighting.
Nonetheless it's retained good detail, only to me it's too cool.
I do like the sparkling bokeh.
Well done with it.

Damn Brit Guest	I think the blue background works. You really pushed the sensor to it's limits on dynamic range. The only thing that I can see that you could do is to recover some of the highlights if you can and lighten the mid tones a little to balance it.
