This is great, I really like it, super lighting. You should go to the library and check out any books by Imogen Cunningham, she spent years studying the human form photographically (admittedly the female form mostly but a lot of the same rules apply).

One suggestion, bump up the contrast slider, I think you might like the effect, especially on the hands, it almost makes them appear to be in front of the focal plane.

Bumped up a little. Too much more and I start to lose detail in the hands. I do like this one more.

Also, for those interested: I had a Vivitar 285HV shooting through a 60" umbrella VERY close camera right.

I love this shot... I can't stop looking at it, the details keep catching my eye. The lighting really is perfect, and the framing too. All of it works great.

Very interesting approach. Your head, shoulders and (hairy) knees are almost abstract, but the hands and lower legs change the style. How about cropping it to a totally abstract looking one? Hope you don't my me trying. What do you think?

I'm a fan.
The original's fine.
Detail and texture are beautifully rendered and the lighting setup is exquisite.
Well done and thanks for sharing.
