Iowa, well I'm going against the flow here, but IMO it doesn't work as abstract photography. There are a lot of definitions but most include some standard that the image steers clear of
identifiable objects or objective representation. I get too much representation and some murky symbolism with the flag upside down in muddy water. I'd like less of the flag as
object and more as an
dea. The ability to PP and really bend the image affect may be the real strength of digital media. I'd like to see you take another look at it in PP, letting go of the idea that we have to
see the flag and go for the
feeling of the flag,
