Just Another Day
Lens: Super-Takumar 55/1.8 Camera: Spotmatic SPII Photo Location: New York City

HP5+ pushed to ISO 640 in DD-X, scanned on an Epson Expression 10000XL.

I'd especially love some cropping hints.

I think that a portrait oriented crop on her would look the best actually, since her surroundings arent very powerful and your processing doesn't leave many prominent shades and tones in the photo so she is competing with her background as being the main subject of the photo. I think it's great though, I love the bow too.

I like it a little bit more than the first one, but I'm not very thrilled with the ratio that you cropped it at. I was thinking more of a full portrait orientation crop, with a little bit more on top and a little less on the left side of this.

Here's as tall as it gets, with some more cropped off the left.

I have tried to do some croping. I think she in need of a bit of background, so I did some darkning to make less in focus.
I think she's better of with a lesser thight cropping; lesser in the right and some space in the left ?

I don't know what the above means. However, I'm thrilled you used a FFC and not an IM. Hooray!
