Belly of the Beast
Lens: DA* 16-50mm f/2.8 Camera: Pentax K-x Photo Location: Carrie Furnace, Rankin PA ISO: 100 Shutter Speed: 1/180s Aperture: F4

There are abandoned steel blast furnaces near where I live that stand about 300 feet high. They make for some really awesome photo opportunities. A friend and I swallowed our fear of heights and climbed to the top. On the way out I saw this old rail car used for carrying molten steel and had to take this image.

Lemme know what you think!

I love the feel of this image, but the highlight between his legs looks like he is clutching a light bulb between his knees... and he seems a little to the right in the image and begs to be in the middle of an image like this.

Following icywarm's comments, I think you should crop a bit off the left to center the figure, and maybe spot out the bright spot between the knees. Apart from that, though, I love the feel of this, it's certainly not something we see every day. Good work!

One last try! How's this? I darkened the sky a little too for moodiness.
