Eric,

The Mardi Gras parade is on 5th March.

There is some sort of mardi gras party near the opera house on 27th but it is not free and tickets are not exactly cheap.

I hope a few more people show some interest in the meeting.

I am glad to see you will be coming Nicole. It will be great to get together again.
I am hoping we can entice a few more Sydney members to join us.
Any suggestions on a location and time to meet?

I am loving my K5 and have not had any problems with it. It is quite a step up from the Kx. Check out the Aircraft and Avon Dam photos on my Zenfolio pages, they were all taken with the K5.
I believe Eric had some problems with sensor stains on his K5, but it has been exchanged now. No doubt Eric will let you know how it is going.

Is there anything interesting happening in Sydney at that time? If not, how about starting at Chinatown? Or we could go to a more colourful suburb like Newtown? Has anyone else got any thoughts?

I will be attending no matter how many are coming.
I can't find anything really interesting happening on that day, so I am happy to go along with anyone else's suggestions.
I would have no objection to a non-Pentax shooter joining us, ....hey, the more the merrier.
Looking forward to catching up with you and Eric again and taking some more great shots.

Anyone keen on photographing the Glebe Tram sheds? It looks pretty cool. I have been wandering around Sydney taking shots of places the last few weekends, by myself. I've found some cool locations around St Peters too, with the park there, the stacks and the graffiti art laneways.

Let me know if that sounds any good to you guys and I can let the other forum I chat at know and we can hopefully get a bigger meet albeit not exclusively pentax.
