Any good place from NY to PA, NY(upstate), and NJ??

I'm planning to travel to the NY(up state)or NJ or PA in 1 hour distance.

I want to find the place where the forest and pond located.

Any good place to take pic for whole day?

Pick places for me!

It would help to know what type of environment - city, country, museums, etc. Also, 1 hour's distance starting where? I assume you'll be traveling by car, but if that's wrong let us all know! These answers would help to get you the answers you need.

I had always intended to go to Duke Gardens in Somerset, NJ to take pics (had been there prior to the digital era), but never got the chance. However, what is now available & open to the public is Duke Gardens, essentially a scaled down version, plus now focused on environmental issues. It has gotten good reviews. Here's the website: DukeFarms

I would vote for Bushkill Falls in the Poconos, but I think it will be more than 1 hour for the drive. Definitely a prime spot though!
