Hello coleagues,

I am planning to have a visit in France. Landing on 10.03 in Paris, then straight from the airport by car to Reims (no booking in Reims, still thinking).
Then some ideas that I got from Frederic here.
Then most probably 14.03 in Lyon
15.03-16.03 in Grenoble
16.03-22.03 in Paris (no car then).

Now, I read some guides what to see. I am coming with my wife nad 4yr old son.
Gear I have: K5,Tripod, SMC DA 18-55,Sigma 70-300 APO DG MACRO, 43ltd, 77ltd, DA 50-135
Plan to take: K5,tripod, DA 50-135, 43ltd, da18-55 (or thinking of upgrade for wider view in low light)

Questions - any suggestions on must see on this route on this time? Especially between 10.03 evening and 15.03 midday.

Ah! Dates! I thought you'll never make Grenoble in 6 hours from touchdown! The only thing I'd say is Grenoble may be good as a base but we drove through there in 2012 and I was very disappointed. I was expecting a quant city nestling in a valley but it just seemed to be a mass of industry and roads. We hit our first mega traffic jam in Grenoble after leaving Calais. The only area that I know of that may be of interest (especially photographically) is the Auvergne area between Paris and your final destination. Lovely rolling hills and countryside.
