Santa Fe in April

I'm scheduled to be in Santa Fe mid April for a series of meetings. I may have a spare hour in the morning and evening and not much else. I'll be based in the city center near the convention center.

I'm debating whether to bring my camera or not, and if so what lenses or focal lengths to think about. I'm also curious for photography ideas that don't include all the churches (which regularly populate the top 10 lists of things to photograph in Santa Fe). I'll be limited to walking too.

Thoughts and ideas?

The state capitol is really interesting. Some wonderful artwork inside. Definitely make sure you visit it!
