How is the light inside Udvar-Hazy? I don't have any wide angles with a large aperture. For film it would either be the Super-Tak 20/4.5 or Sears 28/2.8 and digital would be the kit 18-55.
A little dim :-(

Well dang. There are railings you can use to brace against. And a string monopod may be the best option.

With the K-x, I'd take ISO up to 1600 and clean up any noise in post-processing. An F/2.8 lens would be nice, but the kit lens will work if you take your time. I'm told they do allow monopods - I think I've used one there, but "elbows-on-rails" works as well.

Thunderbolt (and Enola Gay), ISO 1600, 1/8, f/8 (no idea why - I must have been trying to maximize DoF on something and forgot to reset.)
