Melbourne Meetup - FF Lens Test

I'm moving to Melbourne in 14 days, and want to take the opportunity too meet some local Pentaxians and hopefully make some new friends. I have a Pentax K-1 available for people to attach their lenses to and see how they perform on a FF body if they're interested.

Just reply below and we'll get a discussion going on the details of the meet. The more people, the merrier! I'll even bring along a DFA* 70-200, DFA 24-70, and a Tamron 300mm f2.8 AF for people to have a play with!

I'm actually looking forward to the change in temperature, believe me that 20 years of 38-45°C summers really change a man! Not to mention, the ocean and rain will be a game changer for my photography!

On the topic of photography game changers, after a year working as a sports photographer for the Centralian Advocate (yes, I use a K-1 as my sports camera &#128514

, I'm actually applying for a Photojournalism course at uni, and as far as I can tell from all my previous school mates, Melbourne Uni's are great.

All that said, if I ever find myself in Newcastle, I'll definitely hit you up and bring my Tamron 300mm, you've got some pretty fancy glass there too I see!

Well I'm planning on buying the DA 560mm F5.6, so if I have it by the time I make it to Newcastle I'll be sure to bring it with me!
