I was there a few years ago -- nice place!

As with any museum showing lots of big things (e.g., a Convair B-36) stuffed into a big room, the sight lines are often cluttered and there's little room for zooming out with the feet. Wide angles lenses rule the day although some telephoto shots can help isolate a parts of an aircraft. The coolest photo-op is the SR-71 perched at a jaunty angle in the entrance-area atrium.

Have fun!

Wide angle, as already pointed out. Bring an ultrawide zoom if you have one. Moderate lighting so expect to increase ISO.

The state park next door to the museum has a climbable lookout tower. It's a good spot for landscape photos during peak fall foliage.

Gretna, NE along I-80 has a piece of amazing architecture. Holy Family Shrine.

You can always stitch in order to go wider, and the combine using Microsoft ICE.

Yes, I've been to both SAC museum and Safari Park, although it's been awhile.

Both should provide plenty of good photo ops. The park has some elk, deer and bison (including white buffalo) roaming around, along with other big things (wolves, black bear) in enclosures.
