Looking good, hope you are getting orders !
nice and clean, would you go higher than 1/800 if you could ?
mind you that might show the rain less happily, the curtain of drops in the focal plane are pretty neat

Wow Arpe what great shots, I especially love the mud flying off the boot in photo four - fantastic action shots!!

Thanks everyone for the adundant replies as to how to down load (or is that up load? ha ha) photos, when my better half is back home one evening we will attempt some postings, failing that my friend Ross will come and educate us

I googled "speed of a raindrop" (10 metres per sec) and was guessing 1/1000.?? That should freeze the action. Great timing for the airborne stuff.

Cheers. They're at about ISO2500-3200. I'll let myself go to 3200 reluctantly, but don't really want to go below 1/800th; higher - hell yes! Of course if i had a K-5 I'd go up to ISO6400 and beyond! (Seriously, I thought Nikon would have a replacement out by now with the better sensor)

Thanks. Not a very high terminal velocity is it?

Na: humans plummet at 56 metres per sec apparently. Just in case you needed to know that!!!

So pentax is still leading in iso quality. The research I did on the K-30 was that it had the same sensor as the k5 as well as the K01 and from memory it was a sony sensor. So is it the sensor giving results or the processing electronics / algorithms.??
