What lens?
LIke that one, but looks much pinker in the flesh. Standard kit lens (18-55) with it, also clean. Working over weekend so won't get to play with it for a bit.

No, the dog sign by us clearly scares them all off too. (Although the dog will probably just lick them to death)

Na once a Q has been mounted by a Soligor 400mm it can handle anything

And it or the FA31 Limited are going to be voted the best Pentax lens ever. It will be interesting to see the result....

I don't think the forum got that right.

The FA77/1.8 was the first Limited I wanted and it is a cracker of a lens fully deserving of a podium finish, but I have always been impressed with the FA 31/1.8 and since owning a copy I'm completely sold on it.

I think in terms of the feat the FA 31/1.8 designers accomplished with the sharpness and buttery smooth bokeh of this wide-angle(!) lens, it should have been acknowledged with the first place.

I also think that 77mm is too long on APS-C. Don't quite understand the tournament result, in other words.

However, I'm glad to see that so many forum members also value the FA Limited heritage and hope Pentax will be able to steer to similar shores in the future.

They were first and second respectively and there wasn't much in the final votes. In my opinion both fantastic lenses that anyone would be happy to own and use
