Don't worry Transit, just pretend the name is about something intelligent, like the transit of Venus or something.

It is fair to say it was pretty warm in the office this afternoon, and I was sorely tempted to knock off early and go to the pub...

It has gone around to the south now and is about 20 degrees, which is much more pleasant.

Ricoh backwards.

Henry was a bit misguided at times, but still did more for putting the ordinary man in cars than anyone. Remember that, prior to the 'T', you needed a serious amount of money to own a car, and without a car, and poor public transport, it limited where people could work or play or live.

ah Ricoh backwards, this is why crypic crosswords remain a mystery to me.
as for Henry, in bed with big oil and big chemical, made sense to go for the trifecta with big steel.
He certainly did get things moving, just a shame they didn't go with the vegetable panels as demonstrated by Jr. here

You can't change the past Transit (although you can forget it, or re-write it) only today and the future
