'A'-even! score! Well done.... Yeah just another zoom.... do you mind ?

Makes my weekend find seem pale by comparison... but then mine was in Lower-Boganville whilst yours was from from Upper-Boganville
($3....)
I can give you a zoom to put in it if it makes you feel better.

Thanks but no...even the local recycling centre refuses free zooms made me take away the last one I tried to leave...

Yours looks a lot like a Hanimex I dismantled for the PK mount. Cr*p lens but solid brass mount that was good for adapting a Yashica.

Someone(else) didn't want to support them...the logo had been almost rendered unreadable by several applications of black 'permanent' marker.
I'm thinking fabric paint...... do the job properly...

Just noticed my browser showing we're on page 645, which is somewhat significant in the Pentax world.

Think I just purchased that 'dusty' Tamron 90mm f2.8 by the way. Standing by with the vacuum cleaner for when it arrives and gets a clean-up...

It's a marvellous lens, well done.
Hope it isn't as dusty as this one I received a while back
It cleaned up fine

it was the glue from under the base of the case

So, to hide their precious lens from possible burglars whilst they were on holiday they hid it in the.... vacuum cleaner bag !... and forgot this when they returned and cleaned out the fire-place...?

With it being the 645 page ( congrats ClassA
perhaps it is apposite to suggest we organise a
Kiwi Pentaxian meet up ...
The thought comes up from time to time, what say you lads ?
We could chuck in ideas on when and where and get a big turnout !
It's still early enough in the year to find a weekend before Christmas

Mate !

---------- Post added 05-12-15 at 02:18 PM ----------

Had a little project,
my daughter is leaving to work in the usa, she asked if she could have a canvas of the Taranaki shot like her sister
It has a pluty rewarewa frame...but as usual the request came too late for the frame making
so I'm going to make that and ship the whole shooting match over there
She wants a Wangavegus print too...
anyway I took a shot to tempt her. The disc I made for her when she was little, was pleasantly surprised when she asked for it.
I got the %30 off Hardly Normal deal...the service and quality of is was very good
The dear little Q was pressed into service with the 02 cropped and downsized

That's beautiful, Pete!

A bit cruel on your behalf. How can this not make her want to come back immediately?

A couple of things you will not see in NZ

I am in Albuquerque, New Mexico at the moment, and have had the chance for some walks and photography. In between the work it has been a lot of fun. In both these images the subjects are wild and in their chosen habitat. Coyote, and Great Horned Owl

Trouble is most of you fellas are on the other island, and Timaru is at least a 6 hour drive away.
My little bro is trying to convince me to go to Welly for Queen's Birthday Weekend, so if any of you are are around there or within reach of the commuter rail network, I might be able to add some faces to names.
