Possibly Mr Transit, you are not old enough

Thanks Mark, the Zeiss ZK 35 - as you now know, it is a lens that gives very good images
Too true. Such nice colouring.

Very interesting - I had fun blurring it
It's hopefully not a legal requirement in NZ? I can't be bothered blurring plates!

Forget the cricket - go for a photo walk - much more productive use of the time

Yeah, very exciting! Great finish to the match which we were a bit lucky to get away with.

The NZ cricket lads seemed pretty happy. Wellington next - good opportunity for a photographer there

7 and a half batteries later and I'm baaaaack.!!

900 odd photos (many to be stitched). Thank you Ross for organizing 12 days of glorious sun for us down south. I am 4 kg lighter and 4 stops darker after a fantastic tramp.
Sorry to miss the meetup with Ross here in wangas tho.

Yeah nah, too busy with other stuff, though I might try some local college cricket, it's free.

Good to hear the South Island turned it on for you GUB. The Wanga's meeting was great fun, and Transit represented the area very well.

We will forward to the post tramp Q performance analysis and some sample images

So we did a day excursion to Albert Burn saddle and discovered this mega buck chalet on private land right on the park boundary. (Mt Aspiring Station). Google "whare" plus the name of the bird previous if you want to book a night to fly in with your hostess for the evening. (Don't want to give them free advertizing)

Don't know why they built it there-- there is a bloody great mountain (Aspiring) 10 or so kms away blocking their view.

Mountain is a 6 image stitch courtesy of the 50mm/1.4. The resulting tiff is 160mb.
