Yup! Sometimes a little too keen...
I had a black lab X when younger, and used to travel from the Waikato up north with him in the back of my then station wagon.

One morning out after a (long) coastal walk, I stopped with a friend to get a pie, which I started, and then had to step out of the car for something (for an instant!). I came back and found no pie, muddy footprints on the back seat, and a waggy, sheepish dog.

No doubt with a look on the face...'boss, you put it down, so I thought you were finished, didn't want to waste it eh'

Interesting information that popped up on my Facebook feed just now.

Photowarehouse Tax Free service, I did not know they offered that service.

Just sharing the information for anyone else who did not know.

Now all I have to do is find someone who will pay me to leave the country ???

The K50 has been hibernating lately. A friend has gone overseas for the festive season and left me with her Tamron 150-600mm SP lens, Nikon mount so have been giving that a good workout on the D5200.

A chap has a K3 with a 18-135 lens listed on a FB page for $500. The camera has a 29656 shutter count and the lens is a WR version. He lives in Palmerston North. If both were in good nick, that is not a bad price.

Santa must have done a trial run this arvo. As well as the K70, the 18-125 Sigma, and a bundle of SD cards, he also left one of these:
iOptron SkyGuider Pro Mount

Yehaaa.

I just hope everyone else's Yule is as Kule as my Kule Yule.
Those iOptron Skytrackers are really really good.. spend a little time to initially set it up, and they are awesome! (I just use my for GOTO EQ telescope mount)

Happy Christmas all, and may everyone's 2018 be full of Pentax goodness
Went for a little bike ride recently and carried the 645, got some really nice pics, all shot on Ektar 100 and scanned at home, using 4800dpi, the negs scanned out to over 10,500 pixels wide!
Dunedin is amazing, and Early on a Sunday morning, the light was fabulous

Have yet to use the SkyGuider as it has been cloudy. It is a well made unit.
Dunedin always did have the best light.

Shutter count is getting up, but a good price to include the lens as well. Rated for many more shots than that too.

What Group was this on? I’m a member of a few, but haven’t seen this post. Close to home for me.

NZ Photography Buy, Sell, Swap The shutter count is not high by my reckoning. My old K50 is over 70,000 now and still ticking along.
