Yes, quite tempting. A fast 20 would be quite nice.
I am also tempted, but have the MF Voigtlander 20mm, which is a very nice lens - I would have no chance of explaining the purchase of another 20mm on the basis of 'need'

That 70-210's a lovely lens. I picked one up awhile ago for next to nothing. They do suffer from delamination, mine's got a very small amount of in the extreme periphery, but it affects nothing.
Tack-sharp with nice contrast and colour, great companion lens to the 35-70 of the same era.

Silly boy! -the only thing there to set the value is the 28mm. The zooms make great paper weights.

@Transit - I'm heading your way next week, got roped into taking photos at the Masters Games for the week. Not sure how it's going to pan out, if I will have any spare time or not, it's all new territory for me, might be fun, might be just hard work! Nights may be editing.

If any of you are going to be there look out for the tall, good looking, curly haired guy with the amazing Nikon gear! Give me a yell.

Yay I got them.

I was expecting a bit more competition considering how much the 20mm and 50mm seem to go for elsewhere.

Well done, that 20mm is reputedly a very nice lens

Sure, would be great!

I hope I'll be able to make the date you guys will settle on.

P.S.: Between the three of us we should be able to give this Nikon guy a good pummelling. But shhh, we need to keep quiet about it lest he smells the trap.

yes, a little in-body shake reduction should soften him up
