I have the original: the Tamron 90mm f/2.5 although it is only 1:2. To get 1:1 the 2x teleconverter is required. I bought both nearly 40 years ago and have never been tempted to dispose of them.
I have the adaptall 52B. It tends to get passed over for my Kiron made 105 2.8 which is just a little more charismatic in its oof areas. But it is a great workhorse and a lens I can loan out to other camera club people because of the adaptall mount.

I finally have my K-70 back after leaving it at some friends' place in Christchurch. About time too, as my K-50 is starting to show very clear signs of aperture block failure. I've found by switching to live view and taking a photo that seems to sort it for a while, so it's still pretty usable. It never missed a beat until I bought the K-70, and I wonder if leaving it idle for several months didn't help. It's done quite a bit over the last couple of weeks, and apart from the aperture issue, is still a capable camera.
Here's an image from the K-70 on the day the smoke from the Australian bush fires blew over the South Island. This was at Mount Cook. The saturation is enhanced a little, but not much. The place stank of smoke, and if I didn't know better, I'd have thought something was on fire nearby.
My daughter said she thought it was Mordor.

Neat shot Chris. I was hoping the smoke would make for good sunset photos but strangely not.

I've seen ads for them before. I hope they don't have faulty solenoids.

I wonder if there's a K-mount adapter for this?

I should have included a health warning for sufferers of LBA.

It doesn't attach to the lens mount.

It's an alternative battery grip to help you to really pump out those photo bursts.

Don't know if anyone noticed I reformatted my signature. I figured it needed it after my latest bout of LBA. I haven't done any more than test shots at macro range, but even as a walk-around f/2.8 it's very nice.
