Hey, I have a 1920's weatherboard house that I stripped back to bare wood to paint at one stage, so I know all about "prep work"

BIG job.

But, you never mentioned that, just that you wanted it painted.

Someone needs to breed trees that embed their own titanium dioxide, then no painting needed - unless you want a colour other than white!

It is a good suggestion, but will never be allowed in NZ as it would be genetic engineering

I've never understood what all the fuss around genetic engineering is. I mean, vegans ingest vast quantities of plant DNA, and yet as far as I know there's no evidence they're all turning into vegetables is there?
