My wife and I have been to Antarctica in January of 2009. We went there from Argentina (Ushuaia) on a small ship, called the Minerva, with 200 passengers. It was our 7th continent. Took lots of photographs with my Pentax. We landed somewhere almost every day over a 10 day period, getting into a Zodiac (typically two groups of 10 Zodiacs) each with 10 people after decontaminating your boots, and landing onshore by jumping in the water.
We have taken lots of trips over the years and to me, this one was probably my most favorite experience.
