I posted it in the Montreal Pentax Users social group but I'll put it here...

If anyone is interested in the "Papillons en Liberté" at the jardin botanique, it's on 19 février au 26 avril. Mardi au dimanche, 9h00 à 17h00.

Check out: Papillons en liberté [Jardin botanique de Montréal]

The problem with weekends there (especially afternoons) is that the place is *packed*. I mean one can literally have to wait well over an hour just to get inside...

Is it really that bad on weekends?

I haven't been there in years so I don't know.... I guess I could always make this friday March 13th. It's my next day off work, but I figures more people would be free on a weekend?

What do you guys think?

I had the same idea as you to go there, have a small meeting and go shooting.

RBellavance is right, on week-end it can be a bit packed, that's why I was thinking to go there early in the morning. They open at 9am. A sunday at 9am should be OK with not too many people. Of course there is no guarantee that it won't be packed but we have more chances that way I think.

Sunday morning 9am sounds good to me!

If the place packs up too much, we can always move on to the bibitte-arium (insectarium) as the admission ticket includes it...

Je suggère ceci: Best $15 spent on my DSLR- Ultrapod II - Photo.net Pentax Forum
Disponible à Montréal chez MEC (Mountain Co-op) au Marché Central (près du centre Rockland).

Sounds good to me too. I would bring also my father-in-law a newly converted pentaxian (bought my K10D).

Do you have any other suggestion? For sure it's difficult to get everybody at the same place same time, but we can try.
