I think I'd love to go to this meetup, but I think I'll probably be watching the St Patrick's Day parade in Buffalo that day. For a change it's supposed to be a nice day. Hope to see the results of this meetup as I really enjoy the ROM anytime I get a chance to go there. It's been harder with the kids, (ages 5, 3, 1).

So I can get off work early on Sunday, where are we planning on gathering to make our grand entrance? Outside front steps, inside front entrance? Side entrance on the south side?

First shot from the event... There are a few people missing, most obviously the guy behind the camera.

Sorry, I wasn't able to keep the family with the group, the kids were full of energy and wanted to move fast. I wanted to let you guys do your thing without interuption. So my wife and I formed out own Pentax group of two

How come nobody knew about the parade? Busy out there.

Here's my first shot of the Pentaxians, but I didn't know it until I got home:

where's waldo?:

Right after I joined the group, Jamonation saw a guy with a k-m and went up to him figuring he was with us. But it was just... somebody who bought a Pentax! We all thought that was cool, but thinking about it later, that's a little sad.

Pics from the inside later...

Haha! Great crop. I'm pretty sure I had just said "Hey Gooshin, I think we should 'take out' that guy over there with the fancy lens..."

I'm pretty sure you couldn't see me yet

But you do look pretty tough. Looks like vizjerei is trying to figure out how he can run away from you.

I put up my pics here, but nothing too interesting:
Meetup 5 gallery

Used the 43 outside, then the Flektogon 20mm f/4 inside, with a few shots by the Voigtlander Nokton 58mm which I thought Alfisti was going to want to play with, but he didn't show up!!!

So all Manual focus, and a lot of it in dim light, which is a challenge for me (and likely others as well). Thinking more and more about a split screen if I keep this up! That, or contacts

I did do some noise reduction, resizing and compressing, but nothing else.
