Ha! If nothing else, that lens looks extremely bad-ass!

Thanks Serge, it was working for me.

Did you guys go out at all? Would've been good to get out in the sun and fresh air... and most importantly test sharpness at infinity

Av, for all except when I hit the dial by accident switching lenses
--with M42's, I set the aperture on the lens and let the camera pick the shutter speed.

"Develop?" "Roll?" Oh yeah... that stuff. ;-)

I can't wait to see what the DA Fisheye 10-17mm looks like on a 35mm film frame...

As I mentioned at the time, I've seen the Tokina version of the same lens on a 5D (with a surgically removed hood):

It was a great time, and I almost stuck to the "one lens" spirit of the day - with my 10-17mm fisheye. But then I tried Vizjerei's 77 Ltd (evil temptation)...

The few (fishy) keepers from my "roll" of 150 images. ;-)

Pentaxian March Madness

I'll post some info about Enfuse (which we talked about at the meetup) in the PP section...

The auto-alignment is done before Enfusing, and most GUIs for Enfuse have this built-in. Also note that this isn't HDR, but good-old exposure blending with some brainy algorithm. I think it can blend up to 10 images, and some can even be from the same raw file!

I did a bit more of a write-up about Enfuse (my second here at PentaxForums) with some examples from this past weekends meetup. The noise reduction from Enfuse, by shooting two (ISO 3200) images at the same exposure and fusing them, worked surprisingly well!
