I think there were about 6 or so Pentax reps there Friday AM, and I saw 3 K-7 bodies.

Dave (dave9t5) took a number of pics, which you can find in his report here:

Some of my shots...

I had my camera there on Saturday, and farfisa, vizjerei, Steinbeck, MightyMike, and... players whose names I forget, were there as well.

Here is my very small gallery of shots. The funny mirrorball icon is a link to a 1.4 meg Flash 9 panorama of the Pentax Booth. Almost like you are there with us!

Toronto Photo & Imaging Expo

Note that MightyMike has a 1960's Super Tak on the K-7 just popping away!
A fun time, and the K-7 really is something special.

Love the pano herePentax Booth

Also, was the crowd around the Pentax booth larger than the others or you didn't really notice?

PS why is the time stamp 6:42am? It's 3:35pm now.

We certainly managed to get a good collection of different lenses onto the K-7 body. There were limitations on how much we were could do with the body without a memory card in it but I got a good impression from what we were able to test.

Autofocus was fast, I liked the viewfinder, the shutter was quiter than my K10, and the new grip shape is quite comfortable. I hadn't had a chance to play with live view before but even with my Super Takumar on the body the screen seemed to adjust pretty well even as the aperture was stopped down manually.
