I think this is worth mentioning, hope this is the right section!

It seems that Gitzo has had a similar idea to Pentax. Unfortunately I missed out on the West Photo tour date in Minneapolis, but there are many more for several months throughout the US. Great views? yeah, no kidding, haha (no offense to any, uh, Montanites? Drove through last summer, hwy 2 all the way across the top en route to Calgary - man was that lonely!). I am so mad I missed this, I just literally started looking last week and almost randomly went there, on saturday! With the rebate that could've been literally half off (or close to it) a tripod/head combo. Such is life

I just emailed Bogen and let them no about my disappointment in tour location in Seattle.

Yes, I know it won't make a damn bit of difference, but If I make one person think about whether to do business with glazers or not I have made my point.

Here's my email:

"I just wanted to let you know that this a great ideal and do appreciate it. I also know that good well stocked camera stores are getting harder to find all the time. For your Seattle trip I couldn’t be any more disappointed in your location. Glazer's has a reputation of being less then helpful and incredibly rude. I would love to come out and look at your wares, unfortunately I will have to pass. I will keep my eyes open for next year, maybe you will see what I'm talking about on your visit. Just watch how they interact with their customers.
