Thanks a lot Tim. It was nice to meet you and your family.

Your shoots are wonderful.

I took these after witnessing how Corporal Punishment tried to contact with the Navy Seals.

Ok, I got a few. This is good that we're coming together and organising these meets.
Maybe we could even do a Christmas Party in a restaurant and let the photography widows meet and bitch.

Tim, nice composition in the steps shot.
Javi, first and third are

Thanks for posting some of yours too. I like the third one. The bokeh is wonderful and adds to the image. Oh, how 'bout that dog shot! Cool.

I've got more coming, but I'm short on procesing time. I've done some hdr stuff too.

Nice shots! Luna is honored to be an internet superstar.

I snapped a few, too. Size Large, since I'm assuming you guys aren't viewing these on a 15" monitor.

edit: oops. Uploaded the version that still had the dust on the lens. Too lazy to fix.

Graham, very nice shots. The seals are the best followed by Luna the wonder dog. I'm not wild about the angle of the second shot though and it looks like you've got a dust bunny on your sensor too (oh man how I know this problem!). Anyway nice, let's see some more from that old glass you're packing.

Here a couple more of mine both shot with my D FA 100macro.

Tim,

Oh yeah. My sensor is a dust magnet. And/or I do a crappy job of protecting my sensor. I spotlifted that spot off, but uploaded the wrong one.

I can completely understand disliking the angle of the second one. I enjoy it for some reason, even though I know it's breaking all the horizon rules.

Gary,

Do you have a link to that $5 clip-on/snap-on diffuser?

This is the link to the manufacturer page for it Graham - LumiQuest® Photographic Accessories | Soft Screen

I bought mine from Looking Glass Photo in Berkeley but I should imagine most camera stores would have it.
Here's an Amazon link - Amazon.com: LumiQuest - Instant On-Camera Soft Screen Diffuser: Electronics
