Perth, Australia

How many people here from perth (and surrounds)? I have seen a few different bell tower on kings park shots in the photo post section, so there are a couple. I would be interested in a photo day at some stage.

I think Sonny is itching to do this (with a camera this time ).

What did you have in mind?

I should be up for it Depending on time and place I suppose. There are quite a few perth members that I can think of, say 7-8 including us 3.

Yep, that's why I'm itching.

Sounds good... as Jason says, time and place pending, I'd be keen.

I'm in Perth, but I only use film - am I still allowed to join in?

Obviously depends on time and place

Nothing wrong with film at all... I'll take a film body and leave the digital at home if that helps

I didn't have anything specific in mind. Was more seeing who was interested and then find a time and place that suits most if not all of those interested. As for what and where to photograph I have no real idea's, but I am willing to travel a bit out of perth if anyone has a great idea.
I am available pretty much anytime, how about end of may or june. Gives plenty of time to plan something.

I suppose you can come carl , spoons tagged along to the red bull shoot and he didn't even have his camera yet (he was mighty useful for fetching cans of red bull though)

Err, yes... Red Bull. I was really in my element.

carlb - BYO darkroom!

Just sing out when someone has some ideas for the where and the when. I'm not afraid of a little bit of driving.

How opposed to walking are we all? We could meet up at mundaring weir and walk a bit of the bibbulmun track probably to the south ledge picnic area (2-3km walk return easy gradient) I have walked this before and is quite nice. Maybe a little shooting around mundaring and then some cold refreshments at the pub.

That is my idea well that and the obvious Rotto day trip, anyone else have ideas?

Also although i am available pretty much anytime the weekend of the 15-16th coincides with the middle of my in-laws stay in perth.... would love to get away for a day

This gradient, it's and easy down hill gradient right

This would different to the norm for me, so I'll be in.

A bit of a walk is fine by me, but I work on Sundays so they will generally be out for me, but I may be able to re-work my schedule

I'm not sure about the 15th at this stage but will have to check my diary and see what plans my (soon to be) wife might have lined up . I'll keep an eye on this thread and the group

Should work fine for me too... I don't usually plan things far ahead, so should probably work alright. It's a very pleasant area up that way.
