After a long wait the Pentax 645D will soon be available to photographers living in Japan. For the last 8 years I have shot almost exclusively with the Pentax 67II system and it has been great, but from next month I will be shooting with both the Pentax 67II and the Pentax 645D. The camera is on order and should arrive later this month sometime between the 20th and the 30th.

I won't be able to give a scientific review, but I will regularly post images on my blog and give comments about my own experiences with the camera. Looking forward to starting an exciting new chapter as a Pentaxian!

Question - I have noticed only a 14 pics in each gallery - is this your magic number?

Good to see a PF member will get one.
When you do get it, could you post a raw file out of it and find someone w/ a K20d or a K7 to shoot the similar scene willing to do the same?

I wish I could order one of those. I will be watching your site. I'm confused about the price here in the US. I thought it was going to be around $10,000.00 but I have also read $20,000.00. I think there may have been some confusion in converting the money to US Dollars. I am hoping it will be the first price. Does anyone know for sure?
