The new Phocus 2.5 for Mac supports (thanks to Apple OS) "Non-HaBla" RAW formats. Phocus 2.5 is a free downloadable software, which you can get from the HaBla Homepage (after registration) starting 19th of May.

After infos from the apple homepage it supports eg:

Now, thanks to your suggestion, Veraikon, I already gave Phocus 2.5 a try. My first impressions:

• recognizes indeed Pentax PEFs. down to my old istDS files and converts them nicely
• extremely slow on my 4GB (2.16GHz) Macbook to built the initial preview-files - I though it froze, but no, after a couple of minutes it displayed a folder content
• but very responsive when making adjustments (curves, colour) or when changing magnification - probably due to the extensive preview-building
• some function seem to be not available, when using none-HaBla formats. So I can't apply noise reduction for instance, which is a shame. May be there is another reason, but I haven't dug deeper right now.
• it runs stable, which cannot be said about all RAW converters on the market
• handbook as PDF download comes with the disk image
