I have a simple question. How do these two cameras compare when shot hand-held?

I had the 645N with 45-85/4.5 at home for a while (that combo weights 2.3 kg alive) and got some idea - but how does it compares to 67 with some prime lens in terms of sharpness, convenience and low shutter speeds?

Up to which focal lengths do you find these cameras hand-holdable?

You can shoot confortably up to 200mm handleld on a 67 and can do a 300mm if you really wanted to with a fast shutter. My 67 with a WLF, 90mm lens and camera strap weights 4.23lbf (=1.92kgf)

Hi Matus,

You might also want to compare the 6x7 with the optional hand grip. That would add some more mass, but not sure how much more. I believe the 67II has a bit of a different grip than a stock 6x7.

I keep getting a 6x7 and preferring my 645N, selling the 6x7 and preferring (again) my 645N, then thinking maybe I'll 6x7 another shot... Personal choice of course. It is a tough comparison with the 645N's 45-85mm. A great lens although with considerable mass, but the 645N would feel quite different with a prime.

That is my contribution from a convenience standpoint.
