67 to 645

I am looking at getting a 45mm P67 lens. What sort of field of view would that offer on my P645 (compared to a 35mm film lens or APS-C)? I already have the necessary adapter.

To determine the 35mm equivalent, multiply by .6. In this case the 45/4 would equal a 27mm lens on a 35mm camera.

The 45mm used on the 645 would have a 76 degree field of view.

So the FOV will be quite a bit wider than the 645 system 55mm focal length lens I used to have (54 degrees horizontal FOV) ... that's good news.

The 76 degrees I quoted is across the diagonal. Nearly all lens field of view is quoted that way. Your 55mm should be 65 degrees across the diagonal.
