Honeywell Pentax 67

I came across this Honeywell Pentax 6x7 camera with 22mm f2.4 lens. Can anyone tell me anything about it? I can't find info specific to those specs online. I'm unfamiliar with medium format for the most part. Thank you.

No such thing as a 22mm f2.4 lens for the 67. My guess is it's 105mm f2.4. And it's a slammin' lens.

If the lens is f2.4, then it's a 105mm lens - the only 2.4 lens ever made for the Pentax 67 system. And the Honeywell branding lasted a short time, only in some parts of the world (I think) - it's basically a Pentax 6x7 like any other of its period (which is quite early). You'll find it will take any lens made for the system, from beginning to end. The 105mm f2.4 lens is very good, though the later ones probably have better coatings on them than this early one. Won't matter in many situations.

A journey of a thousand miles first begins with one step... after you read the 6x7 manual.

One of my Pentax 6x7s is a Honeywell. They are the US version of the non MLU 6x7. The non-US versions of that era were labeled Asahi Pentax. The Honeywells were fine cameras and were a bit different from MLU version that followed. This forum contains reviews of these early bodies.

I did think that was really weird when she emailed me those lens specs. I'd asked her for a head-on photo but all I got was "22/2.4" [sic].

Anyway thanks for the heads up, all. Based on everything I've read here I was able to find the commentary on this site. I'm going to pass on the camera. Thanks again.
