Getting the 645d in a few days, will provide sample pics.

Hi all,

My name is Hark and I've newly joined this forum. I had been using the Canon 5d II for a while
and recently decided to step up and go for the new 645d. The camera is supposed to be in my
hands in a few days and I will post some sample pics (hopefully) by this weekend.

I currently have FA 35mm, FA 33-55mm, FA 45-85mm, FA 55-110mm, and planning to pick up
Alan's FA 80-160mm for the lenses. Hopefully I could provide some quality samples for these
lenses and contribute to the forum. Thanks!

Hark

I've been using the 645 system for a while now, and I would definitely recommend the A* 300mm f4. Its a great lens, my favourite by far, sharp as I've ever seen, and with great colour rendition.

Hark,

Congrats on the new camera. If you want to try it with the long lenses ( 400 & 800mm), take a trip to O'ahu and we can spend a morning shooting on the north shore. I'll supply the tripod and Wimberley head.

Wow, salivating here.
I am anxious to hear your first impressions and seeing examples from the 645D.
Boy, am I envious. Good luck!

Hey Hark,

I'm in the same boat - expecting my 645D next week. It will be very exciting to test it out. Based on what I saw from frames shot on a pre-production model, the "older" FA 645 lenses look to be just fine, but it will be fun to test them out.

Look forward to seeing your images!

Cheers,

- N.

Hark, can you comment on your experience with your FA 45-85 mm on your 645D? I have that lens and my local store has a 645D with my name on it and I have to decide whether to take it or pass for now.
thanks

I wonder how the 33-55 works on the 645D? Probably the weakest Pentax 645 lens I have tried....
