Spy shot of new Pentax Body + Lens

Looks like something that has yet to be announced. Can anyone make out what it is?

As seen from the Documentary - Baraka - A Closer Look. No wonder the IQ was so fantastic in that film!

That appears to be the TP (Thor's Phallus) 0-∞ mm f 0.1.

Canon's 0-∞ mm f0.1 has better AF performance

I stuck a Pentax transfer logo on the side of a 3 feet long piece of 4 inch white PVC drainage pipe once, and walked around the street holding my camera at one end.

People with Canons and Nikons were drooling...

Random thoughts:

I'm disappointed. I thought the K-5's vertical level finder was a new feature. Now I find out that they had the same thing on old film cameras. Maybe I should rethink purchasing a K-5.

f/0.1? A nifty-fifty that is half a meter wide? Now that has potential as a pancake. Maple syrup, please!

I know that lens is big. Huge. But what about that tripod?

More seriously... They used some Pentax gear to film Baraka? I haven't seen the making-of documentary, but that's a pretty good 5-second sales pitch for Pentax gear for anyone who has seen the film. "Sure, you may not see many Pentax cameras on NFL sidelines. But when they wanted to shoot the film Baraka--when exquisite art is more important than to-the-second deadlines--professionals use Pentax."

Baraka is a pretty old 'film', they shot it on 65mm film.

Well the tripod reminds me of the Ground Station for some Anti-Air-Rocket, maybe they got it used from a warzone.

Maybe you should call Langley and ask them, think that this would be a quite intresting call
