Flash for 645D

Hey guys,

So my 645D is shipping today with a expected delivery of Friday. I currently own two Canon 580 EXII's and I am looking for something similar for my the 645D. Any suggestions?

The Pentax equivalent is the 540GZ, I believe: AF540FGZ - Official PENTAX Imaging Web Site

It will give you all the TTL, and off-camera wireless TTL bells and whistles. About $385 US.

Cheers,

- N.

I would reccomend sticking with pentax flash units with the 645D. I don't mean to drag metz's name through the mud, but there could be some compatibility issues in light of the fact that Metz flash units are designed for 35mm cameras, not medium format. Pentax flash units on the other hand can be used on 35mm cameras all the way up to 67 format.

That's not true. It is only a matter of zoom angle.
If it were true, the Pentax flash wouldn't work either...
My 48 AF-1 works fine on my 645N...
