Nope - no joke.
It wouldnt exactly be a first if we saw a cheap, low quality product that barely does the job released to a market and people taking a chance on it because it's cheap.
I've got some old Russian Helios lenses and a few Chinese no-name lenses for 35mm gear, so I wouldn't have been surprised to find out if there was a company somewhere making cheaper versions.
Zeiss are experienced with larger format camera and cinema lenses and make lenses to suit a number of mounts/manufacturers - would it be that much of a stretch to modify a Hasselblad mount Zeiss to fit a 645 Pentax format?
